Joe Blackson was a native a Abonene - Bakana in Rivers State. He died in 2018 after trying to rescue victims of boat mishap in his State.
According to reports, late Mr Joe Blackson was said to have rescued 13 victims of the mishap before he was drawn when he swam to rescue the 14th victim.
Born on October 29, 1970,he died on 28th July,2018 at the age of 38.
